Our National Lottery & Sport England Campaign
Thanks to funding from the National Lottery and Sport England, we are running an outdoor inclusion and confidence campaign focused on guided, physical trail experiences.
The Reality of Outdoor Access in the UK
Did you know that 16.8 million people—accounting for 25% of the UK population—are living with a disability or long-term health condition? Despite the proven benefits of fresh air, research shows that disabled individuals are half as likely to be active outdoors compared to non-disabled people.

The Main Barriers: Studies show that a lack of clear information (21%), low personal confidence (21%), and fear of inaccessible terrain prevent millions from experiencing the countryside.

Our Core Goal: We are actively breaking down these emotional and physical barriers. Nature should never be a privilege; it belongs to everyone.
The Power of Getting Outside
Stepping out into the open air is transformative. Regular trail walking significantly boosts physical health, dramatically reduces stress, and tackles the heavy burdens of isolation and loneliness. Our walks are designed to foster vibrant, supportive social communities where people can bond, share experiences, and realize exactly what they can achieve.
Why We Choose Hard-Standing Trails
We intentionally focus on routes that feature custom-engineered, hard-standing pathways. These solid, level grounds are perfect for group-style walks because they:

How We Use 360° Walkthroughs to Build Communities

The Mission: We lead guided physical walks specifically designed to help individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges access the outdoors safely, building their confidence to explore independently.

The Core Focus: This active campaign will deliver 100 guided walks across prime, accessible locations, with a primary focus on the stunning landscapes of the Lake District.

Community Co-Creation: As our walking groups explore and discover their favorite trails, our team returns to film those exact routes in 360°. These are uploaded directly to TrailPath360.com as a permanent, immersive resource, showing other disabled walkers exactly what to expect before they leave home.

Iceland’s Laugavegur Trail Adventure

Scottish Munros Challenge
Closer to home, this campaign will feature a selection of Scotland’s Munros, offering VR experiences of these challenging yet rewarding climbs amidst breath taking highland scenery.
Each campaign would continue Mountains For All CIC’s mission to bring the joys and benefits of hiking to everyone, breaking down physical and geographical barriers through innovative technology.
